Optical research on relative paper-making time based on Phyphox

摘要: 本文利用三部智能手机和自制暗盒对纸张的相对制成时间进行了光学测定. 基于不同年代的同种纸张中纤维素含量不同,水解后使得溶液的葡萄糖浓度不同,进而导致显色后对于光的作用方式(吸光度)不同,对样品水解液进行显色处理,采用新型双层载玻片模型,在抵消反射光方面弥补了传统实验的不足. 三部智能手机分别作为光源端、检测端与控制端,检测端基于Phyphox软件检测入射光强与透射光强随时间的变化数值,通过朗伯-比尔定律对数据进行处理得到吸光度与纸张年代的函数关系. 以2017年1月10日的人民日报为待测纸张进行检测,得到检测值为2017.163年. 将检测值与真实值对比,证明了朗伯-比尔定律的可靠性以及自制实验装置的可行性.

Abstract: In this paper, three smart phones and a self-made cassette are used to perform an optical determination of the relative time of paper production. Based on different cellulose content in the same paper of different ages, the glucose concentration of the solution is different after hydrolysis, which in turn leads to different ways of acting on light (absorbance) after color development. The color of the sample hydroxylation is processed and a new double-layer glass slide model is adopted, which made up for the shortcomings of traditional experiments in offsetting the reflected light. Three smart phones are used as the light source end, the detection end and the control end, respectively. Among them, the detection end is based on the Phyphox software to detect the changes of the incident light intensity and the transmitted light intensity with time, and processes the data through the Lambert-Beer law to obtain the functional relationship between the absorbance and the age of the paper. Taking the People's Daily on January 10, 2017 as the paper to be tested, the detected value is 2017.163. Comparing the detected value with the real value proves the reliability of the Lambert-Beer law and the feasibility of the self-made experimental device.
