Research and oriented teaching for practice in the course of electrodynamics

摘要: 在电动力学教学实践中,我们遵循按社会需求分流培养、因材施教的原则.注重课内与课外结合,文献研读与讨论结合,基础知识与物理前沿进展结合;鼓励和指导有能力的学生提早进入科研训练,选拔对理论物理有兴趣的高年级学生组成理论物理强化班,致力培养物理科学研究后备人才.教学与科研相结合的师资队伍,为研究性教学提供了保证.

Abstract: In the practice of teaching electrodynamics, we have followed the education principles: multi-teaching-modes based on society demand; teaching manner and contents adapted to students' aptitude. Both in-and outclassroom studies are emphasized; both paper-reading and seminar are emphasized; both fundamental knowledge and progress of physics frontier are emphasized. We encourage and guide the capable students to join research projects in earlier stage, and select some students who are interested in theoretical physics to form the intensive class of theoretical physics in higher class, for training reserve force of physics research. The faculty combining teaching with scientific research is the base of research-orientated teaching.
