摘要： 萨本栋先生是我国物理学界学成较早的一位著名物理学家、电机工程专家和教育家.他一生从事科学研究和大学教育,成绩斐然.本文简要介绍萨本栋家世及其生平简历,较详细地叙述了萨本栋在科学研究和大学教育方面所作出的重大贡献,以及他的科学观点、教育思想和教育风范.

Abstract: SA Ben-dong,who accomplished his education in physics earlier than others,was a renowned physicist,electronic machinery engineering specialist and educationalist in the modern China,devoted himself to scientific research and higher education with brilliant achievements.After a brief account of his family background and life,this article dwells upon SA Ben-dong＇s significant contributions to science research and higher education as well as his educational thought and style of work.
