推导广义的反射定律和折射定律的两种方法

摘要: 考虑到位于两物质界面上的超界面对光线传播行为的影响,从费马原理和麦克斯韦方程组两种角度出发,推导了可用于相位突变界面的广义反射与折射定律.该定律在界面上对光波的相位改变量为零的情况下,回归为通常的反射定律和折射定律.同时,本文还利用广义的折射定律和反射定律给出了全反射和全透射发生的条件,简要讨论了介质折射率、界面性质等因素对光传播行为的影响,发现利用广义的反射定律和折射定律可以实现对光波的随意控制,以此为基础可以设计用于不同场合的性能优良的光学器件.

Abstract: Considering the abrupt phase shift at the interface between the two media, the general reflection and refraction laws at the metasurfaee with the abrupt phase shift are derived by the two methods based on Fermat's principle and the boundary conditions of continuity, respectively. It is found that the tradition reflection and refraction laws are the special cases of the generalized reflection and refraction laws when the phase shift gradient is equal to zero. Based on the generalized laws of reflection and refraction, the occurrence conditions of the total internal reflection and the full transmission are given and the effect of the refraction index and the phase shift gradient are discussed. It is shown that the arbitrary controlling of the electromagnetic waves can be easily achieved.
