Abstract: It is pointed out that the various schematic diagrams related to Nernst’s equation in textbooks are not equivalent, some of which are acceptable, some are imperfect, and some are incorrect. Moreover, the complete schematic diagrams related to Nernst’s equation are given to remedy the deficiencies in many textbooks. The results obtained are helpful to deepen the understanding of Nernst’s equation and low-temperature chemical reactions.
