Abstract: The truth of the secular equilibrium formula in radioactive cascade decay series is proved with the use of the Bateman formula. A brief demonstration is given after making a detailed explanation on the presentation of the Bateman formula. In addition, an example is given to illustrate the application of the secular equilibrium formula.
