Abstract: A simple model is introduced to depict the energy exchange between the cavity wall and the radiation field in the establishment of cavity radiation. Some conclusions are discussed concerning the property of the equilibrium field, Kirchhoff＇s law of thermal radiation, and the relation between the cavity and a black-body.
