Abstract: Chromatic dispersal curves in sodium chloride and glucose solutions with different concentrations are measured with triangular prism method, According to Cauchy experimental formula, the relationship between some constants in the formula and the concentrations is obtained. After theoretical analysis, the results of our experiment are interpreted and a useful and simple rule is obtained.
Key words: triangular prism method, avelength, chromatic dispersion, Moore concentrations, classical theo- ry of chromatic dispersion
