Abstract: Several problems about the light wave with elliptic polarization are studied. The problems include how to make the amplitude resolution in rectangular coordinate, and how to determine the total intensity, the intensity passing through a polarizer,and the instantaneous intensity of a light wave with elliptic polarization.
