Abstract: In order to improve the present evaluation of college physics experiment, the application of developmental evaluation is proposed. Two practical modes are discussed. The first mode is to evaluate students' performance in routine experiments by themselves, partners and teachers. The second mode is to combine worksheets with observation in operating examination. Comparative studies of the two modes were carried out, showing that developmental evaluation could be effectively applied to improve the results of experiment.
