Abstract: A new method applying a simple RC circuit is put forward to measure complex dielectric permittivity. Compared with the professional apparatus HP4294A, this method is proved to be not only simple, but reliable. Also an analysis of the experiment result performed on PZT5 piezoelectric ceramic is presented.
