Abstract: This paper takes the college physics education research papers from AJP and PRST in latest 10 years as research samples and analyzes their papers by content analysis method, which includes the status and develop- ment of the papers number, form, research theme and subject as well as research methods. It is shown that the number of papers increases year after year. These papers pay more attention to students' study and instructional strategies, force and electromagnetic field. And more of them adopt quantitative research method, papers' presen- tation have scientific standardized form.
