Abstract: Taking the interference and diffraction experiment of light for example,a method based on Origin to simulate optical experiments is presented. This method can be easy to learn and its process is so convenient that it can avoid complex programming. The high fidelity simulation patterns and light intensity distribution curves offer much help to the experimental teaching and optical theory analysis,and meanwhile can guide students＇ inquiry learning and deepen their understanding of optical phenomenon and rules and thus enhance the teaching quality.
