Abstract: In July 7,2012,after the Higgs particle which the standard model predicts was discovered,the Oxford university immediately published 《HIGGS》of Jim Baggott,the famous science writer in Britain. Based on《HIGGS》that can be accepted and published promptly after the Higgs particle was discovered,what is more,in order to generalize it to the reading public,we introduce the major contents,features and give some comments so as to guide the readers taste the book better.
