The possibility and effect for introducing the critical thinking into university physics teaching are discussed. Except for abstracting some important and fallible knowledge points, one needs not only to use the inverse thinking of "what about rather than no such",but also take out facts and say stories in the classroom. It has shown that which plays a better effect in increasing teaching quality.

The potential in alternating current field which Kirchhoff 's second law said is in fact the Coulomb gauge scalar potential. The concise and practical expressions of Kirchhoff 's second law are given, and we expound in lumped element circuit the practical expression how to degenerate into the form known widely. At last the new way of establishing equations of uniform transmission line is given, this method based on the practical expression of Kirchhoff 's second law and the law of conservation of charge.

A physics experiment on spring oscillation using a mobile phone acceleration sensor is developed. The mobile phone is connected to a fixed end by a spring and oscillated after receiving an upward push. Acceleration graphs for the case of simple and damped harmonic oscillations are got. Results for the spring constant, acceleration due to gravity and a formula for damped harmonic oscillation are obtained according to the graphs.

By adding and reducing weight to silicone cylinder, axial elongation and transverse elongation are measured by using the stretching method. We get stress- strain curve, three different definitions of the Young's modulus,Poisson's ratio and stress- strain hysteresis loop of silicone. The experimental method is simple, the measurement is easy and the conclusion of data analysis is more. This will be some practical value and significance to university physics experiment teaching and related research.

Under the LabVIEW environment, with the design principles of modular, localization, repeatability and expand, the numerical modeling and image modeling of experimental apparatus can be carried out by using object- oriented technology. The experimental scenes and instruments in event- driven way interface and the simulation of the operation are realized. The results have shown that the simulation experiment can be arrived in good simulation and implementation in the simulation, interactivity, design, processing and report submitted on the results of all. It can achieve good teaching effect and alleviate the pressure of the laboratory.

The wavelength dependence of saturation photocurrents in the experiment of photoelectric effect is investigated under the condition of equal photo number. Our results indicate that the saturation photocurrents are determined almost only by the wavelength of incident light and represent the photoelectric efficiency of cathode material. The theoretical formula of achieving the condition of equal photon number is derived on the base of the quantum nature of light, which is in agreement with the experimental results.

The shape equation of bending thin plate is derived from variational principle with the assumption that the elastic potential is proportional to the square of curvature. The experimental data confirm the validity of elastic potential assumption. The water drop and heart shape are given for some special boundary conditions.

The general form of determinate solution problem on the equations of mathematical physics is deduced for a transverse rod vibration. The exact solution of a homogeneous rod vibration frequency as a function of load's position and quality is solved. Based on this theory,a kind of dynamic measurement method of Young's modulus is presented. The theory is verified by our experiments and the measurement of Young's modulus is consistent with one in the traditional bending method.
Effect of liquid bridge force and critical velocity for the separation of wet granule

Applying the liquid bridge theory, the physical law and variation of velocity with granule's distance in the separation process of wet granules are investigated. Velocity condition for the separation of wet granules has been presented from the view of dynamics. It has been found that separation movement of wet granules causes the stretch of liquid bridge and separation velocity decreased rapidly with the enlargement of granule surface distance. If the separation velocity of granule decays to zero before the rupture of liquid bridge, separation can not happen. Separation needs a critical normal initial velocity. Employing 4 /5 order of Runge- Kutta- Fehlberg arithmetic, initial velocities of 100 types of wet granules needed in the separation are calculated and listed, which can be loaded to wet granules by collision, vibration or pneumatic components in industry. The major reason why the separation of wet granule gets difficult with increasing moisture lies in the hard rupture of liquid bridge, not in increasing liquid force as widely believed.

The phenomenon of magnetic brake in 2014 China Undergraduate Physicists' Tournament( CUPT)is investigated. Through the transform between the magnetic charge and molecular current point of view, the motion and force analysis of strong magnet are carried out, from the angle of force( mechanics) and energy. It is finally concluded that the motion state of strong magnet is related to the geometric properties of non- ferromagnetic metal tube and itself, and the physical properties of materials. The conclusion has been verified by experiments.

Specular reflection "hologram"is a figure based on the principle of optical mirror reflection. The pattern will change with the viewing direction of formation change by reflecting on the good performance of the control plane and the angle of light reflection path in the three- dimensional spatial pattern. A reflection on the good performance of the surface of the acrylic panels depict the circle to create a mirror reflection "hologram"approach is proposed. The geometric optical imaging principles, factors and imaging properties of this "hologram"are imaged analysis. Some applications are proposed based on the specular reflection "hologram".
