Abstract: The equation of the current transformation of the non-ideal flyback transformer is derived according to the principle of energy conservation. The characteristic of current transformation is analyzed,and its physical nature is explained. The current waveforms of the flyback transformer are measured,and the experimental results are in agreement with the theoretical analysis and the derived equation of the current transformation. In essence,the continuity of the inductance current is that of magnetic flux. The continuity of the flyback transformer magnetic flux behaves to remain the ampere-turns of the transformer unchanged.
