Jones matrix analysis and experimental verification of conversion from elliptically polarized light to circularly polarized light

Abstract

Abstract: Using the Jones Matrix， we derive the parameters of the single wave plates or the double quarter—wave plates for converting the elliptically polarized light to circularly polarized light. To the double—wave—plate method，the influences of the rotating angle errors in the first or the second wave plates are quantitatively analyzed and validated through the experiment.
