Demonstration experiment of eigenmodes  in the course “Methods of Mathematical Physics”

Abstract: Vibration is an important topic in classical physics, and resonance phenomena in continuous media correspond to vibrations in a class of eigenmodes. In the undergraduate course “Methods of Mathematical Physics” for physics majors, eigenmodes are introduced in the chapter on “Separation of Variables” while solving eigenvalue problems. However, the abstract formulas and the relatively unfamiliar concept of eigenmodes can be non-intuitive
