Interference of multiple noncoplanar beams can be used to fabricate 2D and 3D photonic crystals. The basic physical principles of this method are systematically discussed, including the types of structures it may yield, the beam design and polarization optimization. As the first article of this series, the general analysis of multiple noncoplanar beam interference is provided, and the noncoptanar three - beam interference for making 2D periodic microstructures and microfiber bundle is specifically studied.

Basing on the difference of directions of phase constant and attenuation constant when the electromagnetic wave propagates in conductive medium, using the boundary conditions of electromagnetic wave at the interface of conductive media, the relation equation about directions of phase constant and attenuation constant is derived. The results show that φ and φ satisfy sin φ/sin φ =Ac, where φ and φ are the angles between phase con sin stant, attenuation constant and the normal of the interface respectively, Ac is a constant. The results also indicate the changes of directions of phase constant and attenuation constant are caused when the electromagnetic wave is refracted from one medium into another, and the changes occur on the conductive interface, several examples about layer conductive media are analysed too.

The principle of phase invariance (also called "phase harmonic law") in classical wave dynamics as a basic physical principle is discussed and an underlying intuitive reason which lies behind it the order invariance of physical quantities is proposed. Such invariance reflects the principle of relativity. From "phase harmonic law" we deduced the transformation laws for wave vector, frequency, and group velocity of wave packets while space- time coordinates satisfying Galileo and Lorentz transformation, respectively. Furthermore we discussed the problem of phase transformation for Schroedinger equation and Klein Gordon equation. For Schroedinger equation, we believe that the complex nature of wave function releases the wave function from phase invariance which is inevitable for classical waves (where only the real part of wave function have physical meaning), thus expanded the physical region. It becomes the basic quantum equation of nonrelativistic particles. Klein - Gordon equation, however, satisfies "phase harmonic law", we believe that there should be some kind of order invariance for physical quantities behind it. We discussed one possibility from professor Guangjiong Ni's two-component (particle and antiparticle) notion to identify such an order.

Chua's circuit is the simplest circuit, which can become chaotic. The circuit exhibit rich of dynamic phenomenon, it contairis three energy storage elements only. We illustrate the chaotic of the circuit by observe period 1, period 2, single scroll and double scroll chaos attractors, we obtain the chaotic signal by adjusting the parameters of the circuit . Meanwhile we show how to use computer simulate the conclusion of complex dynamic phenomena. We analyze the frequency spectrum with FFT method and simulate the nonlinear equations by using Runge - Kutta method, We also do the curve fitting with least square method. This approach could be use for reference in university experimental study on Chua's circuit.
