By using the theories and techniques of analytical mechanics, the damped motions of falling body are studied in two cases: 1) damping resistance varying as v ;2) damping resistance varying as v2. The equivalent Lagrangian and Hamihonian of each case are shown, and different ways of obtaining the solution, such as first integral, point transformation, canonical transformation and Hamihon-Jacobi equation are discussed.

The serious errors of differential equation about ball games considering air resistance in some magazines are pointed out; right differential equation on condition that the air resistance is directly proportional to square of velocity and its approximate solution and the parameter equation computing the optimum putting angle of a shot are given. Meanwhile the practical equation of optimum putting angle of a shot on condition that the air resistance is directly proportional to velocity are also deduced.

By using the Maxwell's equations and axial symmetry, the axial symmetric unstable electromagnetic field with unstable charge source and unstable current source is studied. First, three elementary expressions are derived, then, the infinite series expression of electromagnetic field is obtained by using the known field expression in axial. At last, the convergence results is varified

By resolving a free oriented magnetic of HMD and VMD to EV and EP wave is given. By dipole to HMD and VMD, a method for resolving the wave studying the reflection and transmission of EV and EP wave on each layer,a kind of recurrence formula of electromagnetic wave in each layer is proved, and then an analytic expression for electromagnetic field of MD with Bessel function integral, which satisfies boundary condition of each layer, is obtained.

In terms the expressions of the charge density for an electric dipole, the force and torque exerted by an external electric field on it are derived in a simple way by using the δ function. The same thing is also done for an magnetic dipole in external magnetic field.

The dynamical evolution of mesoscopic LC circuit with alternating source is discussed by quantum invariant theory. The time evolution operator of the quantum state is obtained. Analytical results indicate that the system will evolve from initial state to squeezed state when the coupling effects from electron wavefunctions between mesoscopic capacitor plates are taking into account.

Based on d'Alembert formula, the extension of inhomogeneous boundary condition on free vibration of semi-boundless string is discussed. The results show that there are many extension methods, although extension expressions are not the same, but the same final results do. Two simple extension methods are given.

Based on the conservation of energy,we establish a mechanical model to study the direct and the secondary effects of the impact between a Fe-Ni alloy asteroid and the South Pole. The secondary disaster is the indirect effect leaded by the earthquake, tsunami, air dust and shaken ice. Based on the calculation of our model, we find that the direct effects of the impact are limited and will attenuate in a short time.
