摘要/Abstract

摘要： 胡刚复（1892-1966年）学成较早，是中国第一代物理学家、著名科学教育家，也是中国近代物理的先驱之一．他毕生矢志祖国的科学与高等教育工作，时间长达近半个世纪，为国家培养了一大批优秀科学技术人才．本文在介绍胡刚复家世及其生平简历的基础上，较为详细地叙述了胡刚复在科学教育方面所作出的重大贡献以及他的教育思想和教育风范．

Abstract: HU Gang-fu （1892--1966）, who accomplished his education in physics earlier than others, was a first-generation Chinese physicist, a well-known science educator, and a Chinese forerunner in modern physics. For almost half of a century, he dedicated his life to China＇s science education and higher education, bringing up for China a host of talented people in science and technology. After a brief account of his family background and life, this article dwells upon HU Gang-fu＇s significant contributions to science education as well as his educational thought and style of work.
