Abstract: Based on the analysis of the data obtained in a specific laboratory environment，we extract the correction factors for Stocks formula by using the falling - ball method. Compared to the standard values，our experimental study shows that the present results have a smaller error and dispersion than those obtained in Refs.[15]. We also check the results with other fluid and find the consistent result.
