    By using the perturbation theory and Mathematica, the energy level splitting ( n = 3 - 7) of the hydrogen atom in the electric field and magnetic field of the same direction is calculated. The numerical results show that the degeneracy of energy levels (n = 3 -7 ) is completely removed in many cases, while the overall energy level splitting is not equidistant. But under certain conditions,the overall energy level splitting is equidisatnt, and the degeneracy of energy levels is not completely removed, the energy is only split into 3n-2 different levels. The result from some recent articles is not comperhensive.

    In order to prove independence of the electrostatic energy of complex system on the process of establishing the system, we apply mathematical method to derive the work done by the electrostatic field according to the Coulomb' s law for carrying free charge,conductor and dielectric in any way. The formula of electrostatic energy is obtained. The result shows that the electrostatic energy of linear dielectric only depends on the final distribution of the system. The conclusion provides the important theoretical basis for the imaginary displacement method of solving the electrostatic force.

    There are errors with the measurements due to the existence of the internal resistance by the traditional voltaic method to measure resistance. We attempt to replace the voltameter with the electron beam tester and find that the relative error of measured results is small. This is one way to realize the measurement of electricity quantity with the aid of the mechanical quantity.

    Starting with the optical current expression of an electromagnetic wave signal generated by opticalheterodyning,the conditions of optical heterodyning are discussed, and the top frequency and restriction factors for the electromagnetic wave are analyzed. The Matlab simulations show that the top frequency of the electromagnetic wave is mainly restricted by the frequency bandwidth of the photodetector, and is able to cover the top of the radio frequency band. The mm-wave of a ROF system and THz-wave are successfully obtained in optical heterodyning experiment.

    Optical gas absorption is a widespread phenomenon. Tunable diode laser absorption spectroscopy method and experiments are used to verify the fundamental gas absorption theory according to the Beer-Lambert law of optical part in physical course. The basic absorption wavelength with the different oxygen concentrations is obtained. The results show that the higher the concentration,the greater the light attenuation. Moreover,the mathematical knowledge is expanded according to the fitting curve. This experiment is helpful in widening the students' horizons and learning new technologies. Through this experiment, the theoretical understanding of gas absorption theory is deepened and the practical ability of students is exercised, which provides effective help for the college physics teaching process.

    When he was frustrated and lost his confidence of future in Cambridge, Oppenheimer met Max Born who came there to gave a lecture. Born appreciated Oppenheimer' s talent, and invited him to Gottingen. Under Born's guidance, Oppenheimer did excellent research work, soon got his doctor rate in Gottingen, and later be- came the father of atomic bomb in America. But the relation between the two was not harmonious enough. In early years, the advisor was afraid of seeing his pupil, and in late period, the pupil was full of resentment and bitterness, did not want to see the advisor again. The leaders of a institute or the advisors are worth to pay attention to the whys and wherefores in these affairs.

    To increase the utilization of the polarized light, a simple device based on Brewster principle to acquire polarized light has been given in this paper. The natural light is split into two bunches after passing through the pile of glass-plates, of which the s-polarization component is revolved to the direction of p component, and both of them enter the detector in the end. The relationship between glass number m and device parameters is also settled. In the last part, glasses of different types are used to test the calculation of glass numbers and transmittance in the case of the maximum utilization of light. The test shows that the utilization can be increased by 10% through this device.

    We achieve two equivalent resistance formulae between two remote nodes of 3D □×nnetwork by modeling equivalent method,and apply it effectively to LC complex impedance of the network. Some basic properties of the equivalent impedance are analyzed and discovered. It is shown that the resonance characteristics and chaos characteristics of the equivalent impedance depend on the circular frequency of the input current. We have found that the equivalent resistance between two remote nodes of 3D □×n network can be unified as a simple formula when the grid number n is large enough.
