By exploiting the stability of quantum dot system and applying the variational principle, we prove that its single-particle distribution function is non-increasing with respect to the energy levels at zero temperature. Our result shows that the properties of the spectral functions in a quantum many-body system is largely determined by its thermodynamic stability.

Based on the method of wavefront phase- factors and considering of the influence of limited aperture of grating, we analyze the diffraction fields by a circular cosine-grating which contain three components, i. e. , the plane diffraction wave, the divergence spherical diffraction wave and the convergence spherical diffraction wave, they are all limited by the circular aperture. The corresponding three integral expressions of the diffraction fields are given. Three formulae of the amplitude distribution of diffraction fields along axis are obtained and corresponding a series of curves are shown. Finally the transverse line-width and the axial line-width of that real focal-spot are obtained. This study may further provide a theoretical foundation to analyze the technique of the diffraction focalization and image formation by a circular cosine-grating.

The use of Rydberg wave packet analyzing the dynamics of quantum mechanical systems is a very important method for studying the relations between the classical mechanics and the quantum mechanics. The evolution and revival structure of the plane rotor' s Rydberg wave packet in an external electric field is studied mainly in the present paper. The results show that the wave packet might be collapsed or resumed periodically if the external electric field is very weak, but in the strong electric field, the evolution and revival structure of the plane rotor' s Rydberg wave packet are in correspondence with that of the harmonic oscillator.

The main factors that affect the veracity of steady-state method measuring thermal conductivity are heat resource temperature, ambient temperature, sample thickness and sample thermal conductivity. The cooling rate of cooling plate is different on upper surface and below surface is another important factor. The natural convection empirical formula is used to improve the data processing, the effect of elimination of heat from the side of sample is reduced. It is important to design the experiment to keep the temperature of cooling plate in an appropriate range, and the cooling rate of cooling plate is uniform anywhere at such temperature.

An iron ball suspending in a cylindrical permanent magnet is realized by modifying the magnetic field distribution with iron balls array. We use the solenoid model and the interaction of levitate iron ball and permanent magnet and the magnetize iron balls array to calculate the three-dimensional distribution of the permanent magnet. The energy minimum indeed existing in the energy carve drawn is presented numerically by the MatLab software in this magnetization system, which makes sure the iron ball to suspend in midair stably. Based on this foundation we do the experimental study and the experimental result is in agreement with the theoretical calculation. This may be applied in magnetic levitation fields in the room temperature.
