The plasma microwave radiation, as a novel high power microwave (HPM) source, has gotten more attention in recent years for its merits of broadband, coherent emission and tunable frequency. Several typical theoretical researches and experimental investigations in this field, including electron beam-plasma interaction, plasma local perturbation, three-wave interaction, are introduced.

The difference between the evanescent wave penetrating the lens made by the negative refractive material and the lens made by the refractive medium is analyzed. It realizes the phase adjustment, thus realizes wave focusing. Moreover, that the negative refraction material also amplifies evanescent wave oscillation amplitude is analyzed by using the principle of superposition (interference method) and the field quantity match law. The gain of negative refractive index medium for evanescent wave is obtained. The traveling wave and the evanescent wave all could focus the image formation. And it proposes that the evanescent wave penetrates the negative refractive material slab is equivalent to forming a LC oscillating circuit in the transmission line theory, and realizes the amplitude gain to the evanescent wave.

Laser synchrotron source is a novel X-ray source. LSS is based on Compton scattering of intense lasers from relativistic electron beams. By Compton-recoil electron method, the wavelengths and energies from the laser synchrotron source are investigated. The results show that, for the different y ranges, the wavelength and energy have the different approximate formulas. Then, the radiation condition of the LSS is calculated as λ1 〉λm. At the last, the relation λ2max = h/(mo γv) and εc2max=βε3 are presented.

Applying the finite difference method, the numerical simulation of the surface charge density of a finite conductor stick is presented. It turns out that not only curvature radius of the conductor surface but also the shape of it and the other conductor around it have influences on its surface charge density.

Several depolarizers are introduced, and the depolarization mechanism of polychromatic light is represented in detailed. By using Stockes vector and Mueller matrix, the depolarization effect of polychromatic light through wave plate and revolver combination is analyzed, and the specific form of Stockes vector is gained. Some things of depolarization are discussed.

The comments on the quantum phase factor and quantum adiabatic theorem by H. Z. Li are shown to be inconsistent with the real-world cases and thus incorrect. It is shown that the condition R/ t→0 cannot account for "why the quantum adiabatic theorem does not hold for the energy degenerate case" ,and can lead to the erroneous statement that "the wave function without the adiabatic phase factor satisfies the time-dependent Schroedinger equation".

The experimental circuit of Coullet chaotic system is structured. As the parameter of Coullet system is changing, the bifurcate process form the steady periodic state to chaotic state is observed by using oscillograph. The system is effectively controlled via nonlinearly feedback. As the value of feedback gain is changing, the system can form chaotic state to the steady periodic state.

The conditions under which a solution exists and a general distribution of image electric charges are given. Finally the conditions on which the deduction of the distribution is based are necessary and sufficient conditions to apply electric image method to this problem is proved.
