The shape of a liquid globule in a flee-falling elevator is calculated. The result shows that the shape of the globule near the Earth obviously departs from sphericity when it is about two or three meters, and its shape is similar to the shape of the bulgy ocean water caused by static tides. The methocks to olaserve the non-even effect of gravitational fields and to make apparatuses that can measure the curvature of curved space are given.

Under the condition of the symmetry of applied axial, the general solution of Laplace equation is obtained in spherical coordinates. According to the relationship of boundary values, the potential function at each zone of medium spherical shell in uniform external field is solved. A discussion on the characteristics of field dis- tribution with the result of magnetic screening effect of medium spherical shell is also given.

We deny the opinion that the Klein-Gordon equation can be treated as the wave equation of boson. An equation to describe particles with spin 1 is introduced. This equation has the form of 8 × 8 matrix or quaternion of three rank and in which the first-order derivatives to both time and space parameters appear. Some important operators of this particle are established. The plane wave solution and spherical wave solution to free particles are also given.

The dispersion law of a one-dimensional diatomic lattice with on-site potential is analyzed under the harmonic approximation. With nonzero on-site potential, the frequency of acoustic branch at the center of Brillioun zone is nonzero, and the frequency increases with the on-site potential increasing. From the anticontinuous limit (AC limit) with only the on-site potential, as the on-site potential decreases and the interatomic coupling increases, the frequencies change continuously to form the two (acoustic and optical) bands and we retrieve the well-known dispersion law for the diatomic lattice.

Introducing the effective potential function of central force, A discussion of the movement track is conducted. The kinetic features of the object are developed semi-quantitatively first, and then numerically simulated to show all kinds of possible tracks visually, which results that the tracks are non-closed curves With quasiperiodicity.

The 2nd virial coefficient of the hard sphere potential, rectangular potential well and LennardJones' potential are obtained for classical non-ideal gases in any dimension. The method of calculating higher virial coefficient is given. It is explicated that the 2nd virial coefficient converges for Lennard-Jones' potential, when the dimension n is smaller than 6.

A new method which measures specific heat of water with a constant flow calorimeter is reported. When the steady state is established, the amount of heat generated by the current in the wire equals that received by the passing water and lost to the surroundings. Two separate experiments eliminated the unknown factor of the heat lost to the surroundings. The accuracy of the experimentresult is rising up notably.

It is discorered that circular hole diffraction and circular disk diffraction pattern in large aperture convergent beam are different from those of general Fresnel diffraction. The properties of large aperture convergent beam are studied experimentally and the phenomena explained using the method of geometric optics. The existence of inversion relation in these diffraction patterns is demonstrated. Utilizing convergent beam of large aperture can realize inversion of circular hole diffraction and circular disk diffraction.

Basing on a problem in The Feynman Lectures (Vol. 2), it is proved that the magnetic flux density along the axis of the ellipsoid of revolution which has coil on its surface is a constant under the condition which Feynman provided. Then it turned out that this case is suitable for all the quadric surfaces of revolution. At last a general formula is obtained applicable to them all.
