The physical essentials of the process that the free electron in empty-lattice model becomes Bloch' s electron in crystal under the action of perturbing periodic potential are revealed by analysis from the point of view of wave theory. The result indicates that the propagating plane wave representing the wave function of the free election in empty-lattice model brings about various scattered plane waves everywhere in crystal under the action of perturbing crystalline potential, and it brings about Bloch's theorem that these scattered plane waves interfere with each other because of the translational symmetry or periodicity of crystalline structure.

Analyzed the restricted condition with 1-order nonholonomic constraint, the form of 1-order nonholonomic ideal constraint force in the space of C^q is given, and the geometric significance in the velocity space is clarified. It's proved that Appell-Chetaev condition is sufficient and necessary condition to realizing 1-order nonholonomic ideal constraint.

The definitions of polarization in some Chinese textbooks are analyzed. It is pointed out that the definition only according to the intensities of the electric field in different directions is incomplete, to take into account the statistical property of the polarization is necessary. A proposal is offered in instructing this concept.

First of all, the significant historic position of van der Waals equation is commented. Using van der Waals molecular model for gas-liquid states, the deviation of two ideal gas laws, the characteristics of gas-liquid transition and the theorem of corresponding state are analysed premarily. Liquefaction of gas and low temperature techniques are presented briefly and the significance in low temperature physics and theory of phase transition are emphasized.

The demonstration experiment'hyperelastic collision' is a typical example of using the knowledge of college physics, and a very interesting one for the students. An analysis of finding the optimum conditions of the experiment is made, which shows that the mass ratio of the big ball to the small one is 3 may be the best con- dition for the experiment.

The couple of Joliot-Curie won the Nobel chemical prize in 1935 for they discovered the artificial radiation substance. However, they had missed the chance to discover the neutron and the positron. Through the retrospection of Joliot-Curie couples process of getting Nobel Prize we can gain great revelation in the methodology: to emphasize the theoretical thinking, to value the function of academic exchanges, to question the preconceived idea, to cope with the relationship between theory and experiment correctly, to emphasize the function of experimental means and to have a mind of grasping chances.

The contradiction between temporal reversibility of Newton mechanics and irreversibility of thermodynamic process has long been one of the most frequently debated problems in physics and philosophy. This paper retrospects the historical conflicts of opinions on irreversibility through the H theorem introduced by L. Boltzmann. Recent progresses of the study on this issue are also discussed. In the frame of modern ergodic uheory and chaotic dynamics, the contradiction between microscopic reversibility and macroscopic irreversibility can be well understood and answered.
