A new version of the Taylor series expansion is obtained by ascribing a typical value of complex variable in the expansion. Applications to the usual special functions, including hypergeometric function, spherical harmonics function, cylindrical function, and modified cylindrical function are made. About 20 identities are gained for these functions, which can not be found in the classical literatures.

The elementary excitations spectrum in the system of a spin 1/2 one-dimensional ferrimagnetic diamond- like chain at low temperature is calculated by using the invariant eigen-operator method. The elementary excitations energy under especial qualification in the system and advantages or deficiencies of invariant eigen-operator method are discussed.

The ferrimagnetic behavior of polycrystalline Nd1-xSrxCoO3 (0.1≤x≤0.5 ) sample is systematically investigated. The sample is prepared by using conventional solid state reaction method. The DC magnetization and the hysteresis loops of polycrystalline Nd1-xSrxCoO3 are carried out by using the physical properties measurement system of quantum design. DC magnetization studies show that magnetization increases in magnitude as a result of increasing size and number of ferromagnetic clusters, which shows ferromagnetic ordering. Moreover, DC magneti- zation studies show that polycrystalline samples form the formation of ferrimagnetic order at low temperature. The re- sult of the hysteresis loop suggests that magnetic coupling exists between Nd ions and Co ions. Therefore, Nd1-xSrxCoO3 ferrimagnetic order appears at low temperature due to the Co and Nd anti-parallel.

This paper is intended to calculate the magnetic field of a line electric current in the infinite deep trough imited by a ferromagnetic substance by using Schwarz-Christoffel transformations on the coordinate system of the complex number and mirror image method. We obtain the magnetic potential arrow distribution and magnetic induction line equation. The magnetic induction line map is plotted by using the software MATLAB

:A simple method to calculate the diffraction field of the transmission rectangle phase grating is proposed. The diffraction spectrum of the transmission phase grating is analyzed. It is shown that the diffraction field of the transmission phase grating is closely related to the grating' s optical thickness and the incident wavelength. A condition under which the diffraction energy will move from zero order to the first order diffraction spectrum is obtained. The discussion on the passable applications of the grating is made.

Through the experimental research of the brine-the water eyelet periodic aerial drainage and the measure of the length of 8 different holes which is 1.32 mm aperture, we obtain the cycle in proportion to the length of the hole 1.1 ±0.1 powers of exponent. At the same time, we track the record of the inner tube liquid level which has 1.32 mm aperture and 113.00 mm length to get the experimental curve which is the exponential form, this is in good agreement with the theoretical analysis.

The history of science is a special discipline, different people have different understandings to it. The physicists have an especial perspective to understand the history of science. They believe it is most meaningful to science education to reappear the details of the research works by scientists. They also consider it is an important part of the history of science to research scientists from the perspective, which treat them as social people. This would help to build harmonious relationships between scientific culture and human culture.

When birefringence happens in the uniaxial crystals, some abnormal phenomena of the extraordinary light may occur, such as negative refraction, walk-off angle, total reflection and so on. Different from the electromagnetic theory of plane waves transmission in crystals as in the references, we use the Huygens construction, which is more intuitive, with some geometric methods to calculate the critical incidence angle of negative refraction, the walk-off angle and the critical incidence angle of total reflection of the extraordinary light.

With the Preisach hysteresis model of piezoelectric ceramics, which is based on the biuadratic Lagrange interpolation method, added in ,the atomic force microscope (AFM) simulation platform can simulate the scanning image distortion caused by the hysteresis effect in any voltage, and demonstrate the real scanning process of AFM more accurately for students in the experiments. To correct the distortion of the scanning images, the searching inversion algorithm is proposed to achieve the precise inverse Preisach model, and the corresponding input voltage is set to offset nonlinearity of the hysteresis effect, the simulation results show these methods effectively correct image distortion.
