A novel and systematic dimensional analysis is presented. A few new concepts such as “quantity class”and “class of unit systems”are coined, and a clear cut definition of “dimension”is provided. A self-contented proof of the theorem is presented based on these new concepts, and two examples illustrating the great power of the theorem are also given.

Combined with the Airy function and its basis properties, this article studies the microscopic motion of a wave packet of a particle in a linear potential field. The Schr?dinger equation for the linear potential and the V potential are solved to give the wave functions and the energy level structure of the particle. Then, in a free space, the free motion of Airy package is investigated in detail. The calculation reveals that a free Airy wave packet shows a self-acceleration in the free space. Finally, some experiments to show the strange evolution of Airy wave packet are demonstrated.

The applied light and electric field can adjust the resistance of lanthanide manganese oxide thin films under certain conditions. We study resistance and lattice structure properties of LaMnO3(LMO) film, which is grown on a SrTiO3(STO)substrate and performed diverse properties for different conditions. The film's resistance does not change significantly with the applied voltage when it is not illuminated by a laser beam. However, when the film is illuminated by a laser, the resistance varies when the applied gate voltage changes. We use X-ray diffraction (XRD)method to observe STO substrate's lattice structure change. We have found that when the electric field is strong enough, light increased oxygen vacancies'mobility and enhanced the interface polarization which expands the lattice of STO.

The issue of phases in quantum mechanics plays a vital role in condensed matter physics in recent years, such as Aharonov-Bohm effect and Aharonov-Caser effect,as well as Berry phase. Here,we propose the counterpart of Aharonov-Caser effect can be realized in a system with a motion of electric dipole based on the electric-magnetic duality. In addition,we also propose the emergence of quantum phases stems from generalized velocity dependent potential. Thus, our findings should provide an avenue to design the models to realize the exotic quantum phases in future.
