The great contribution of the Michelson's interferometer in physics and the development condition in biomedical imaging technology are introduced. From the development process of Michelson's interferometer, the principles and Characters of optical coherence tomography and its applications in biomedical imaging, physics / and materials science are discussed, then the spectral optical coherence tomography is compared with Fourier transform spectrometry. At last its significance in teaching is discussed.

A method to calculate the propagator for a particle moring in a one-dimensional infinite square well using Feynman' s path integral is presented. Wave function and energy spectrum are derived from the propagator, which manifest the equivalence between path integral and traditional methods. Meanwhile, a interesting mathematical function, Jacobi theta function θ3, is introduced.

The tangential in,ternal force and its moment and the normal internal force and its moment in a moving rod pendulum are discussed. The work done by the internal forces and the moment Of internal forces are calculated. The discussion might be meaningful for correctly understanding some physical models like particle and rigid body.

The historical development for the concept of magnetic monopole is briefly described. According to Lorentz transformation, the relativistic covariant of electromagnetic field tensor and 4 - dimension forces, and the relativistic invariance of electric charge, it can be directly proved that a moving magnetic monopole will be actedby a magnetic Lorentz force, and that the magnetic Lorentz force has the same accuracy as the Coulomb low. Dirac quantization condition of electric charge is derived with magnetic Lorentz forces. Finally, an experimental scheme to test and verify the magnetic Lorentz force is suggested.

Guidance characteristics in asymmetric left-handed material (LHM) slab waveguides are analyzed theoretically, Several lower-order transverse electric modes (TE) and transverse magnetic modes (TM) are calculated numerically and the dispersion curves are obtained. Some abnormal properties of guided modes in asymmetry left-handed material slab waveguides are discussed.

Five measuring methods of refractive index of liquid are introduced. It includes method of irradiation of laser, method of diffraction grating, method of optical fiber Young's interference, method of Abbemat refractometer, and method of measuring by CCD. All of these methods are simple for operation, and their principles are easy to understand. The characters of each method are also analysed.
